Comprehensive Clinical and Educational Assistance

Audiological Services provides comprehensive clinical and educational assistance to children with impaired hearing or a suspected hearing loss.

Clinical services include the following:

  • Consultation with parents and teachers regarding the hearing loss and the educational and audiological needs of the child.
  • Hearing screenings.
  • Diagnostic evaluations using developmentally-appropriate test methods, including behavioral, impedance and otoacoustic emissions testing.
  • Hearing aid dispensing and evaluations.
  • Assistive technology, including personal and soundfield FM systems.
  • Auditory skill development.

We provide our services on the east side at Wilcox Elementary School in Portland (see map), at the Clackamas ESD building in Clackamas (see map) and at the Hood River Hospital in Hood River (see map).
